My wife is sorta gothy, no drinking blood going on here. Just really into industrial and ebm.

Most of the white-wolf fans I've met have seemed somewhat elitist... I've been called an intellectual elitist -- I don't intend to be, but I've been called... and there's a lot of bleed over between WW and goth chic which also tends to be rather clique-like... but the whole thing (the goth lifestyle) to me is just way overdone ... I don't mind goths I just can't tolerate it in everything I do 24-7 the way they've often seemed (to me anyway) to want it to be. And then you hear stories or catch bits of daytime talk-shows where people are saying that they really believe they _are_ vampires and that they occasionally draw blood from their significant others not because it's kinky but because they're addicted to the blod itself... and about strange cults where charismatic(?) leaders dupe people into drinking blood that's been spiked with heroine so it produces a real chemical high and when they don't get it they have real physical withdrawal, so these new addicts think they really are vampires. Though I suppose anything can be taken to an unhealthy extreme -- athletes and steroids, programmers and workaholism... But the whole heroine vampire thing is so sad... ike ------ Original Message ------ From: Larry C.
