I have heard he is pretty liberal, however he did sign the law permitting all of the people that live in Vermont to carry a concealed weapon without a permit, requiring only a regular ID or drivers license.
I need to look at his site to see where he says he stands. I have heard a lot of good things about him, but they were from a very centrist/collectivist friend of mine.
