I think Dean's liberal mantle is mostly propped up by Vermont's "civil union" provision for homosexual couples. Dean's fairly middle-of-the-road in regards to some things, namely gun ownership and his fiscal policies. He seems like a nice guy and a reasonable candidate, but he imploded on "Meet The Press" a couple of months ago.
