Those little Sentras are easy to fix at most mechanics. They are extremely common cars here in Trinidad, and people like them because if you get a problem it is usually cheap to get parts etc. and you can take the car to any mechanic.
I suggest you take the car to a mechanic to have a look see. Problems where the car shuts down etc. could be several things. Fuel Injectors could need cleaning or any number of issues.
