True. Rather, I have numerous modems / NIC cards / sound cards sitting around that would be suitable for this purpose.
A number of people have contacted me with apologies / regrets for not sending component pieces for the system. The reasons cited have been practical ones, which I can completely understand. I have directed all of these people to apologise personally to Erika, who seemed the most outraged that this project is not complete yet. But it seems to me we need to look at a fallback plan. Either we need some people to make a serious commitment to send parts, or we need to make contributions directly to Mike D.
