Java baby - OSX comes with Apache and I believe Tomcat. Not sure if PHP is
out for it, but it shouldn't be far off. As for ColdFusion, well it's a
supported development server environment.

If your looking at stand alone or client server dev then the tweaked jre it
comes should fit the bill.

Subject: New eMac

OK, I got a new eMac delivered yesterday, and I set it up last night. It's
got the most amazing graphics I've ever seen on a computer. The OSX shell
is something else - I'm just in complete awe as to how smooth the graphics
are, how seamless everyhint is put together. This is easily the most
beautiful computer I've ever seen.

I'm not really familiar with Mac, but I decided it was time to get one now
that I'm expected to support two OS9 macs - a G4 as an FTP/VNC server and
another G4 as a workstation FTP/VNC client. I'm looking forward to getting
intimately familiar with it. I've ever decided to go ahead and spring for a
cable modem at my new house (Oh yeah, I moved into my new house a couple of
weeks ago) in anticipation of using this wonderful machine.

Anybody have any idea how to program on it (other than CF) ? I want to dive
into this headfirst.
