the "stone cold test"...would that have be a written test? oral? demonstration by dropping babies from tall buildings?
I worked for a defense contractor for a year on a project documenting a wargame called Janus. I had a security clearance, needed one to look at some of the classified data concerning weapon systems, nobody ever took me aside to interview me or work me over to find out how tough I was. Had to sign a piece of paper at the end of my contract that stated that I would not disclose particulars about certain weapons systems. Nothing out of the ordinary as far as NDAs go. I expect, and will be required, to sign another NDA should I ever leave my current employer, and all we make is electricity mangagement software. But proprietary is proprietary. I guess my project must have been pretty lame compared to the ones you've obviously heard about, though I suspect that that is all you've done... *heard* about projects. *heard* this, *heard* that, never *worked* on any of them. I guess I could be wrong, it's been known to happen, but that's the read I get from the tone of your message. And yes, I realize the initial message was sarcastic. and intended to be funny. and wasn't really. will cantrl. a wrote: >I know a few people personally that got defense contractor jobs after service, secret >clearance and all, and they couldn't take it after a couple years.
