Oh ho ho, grasshopper, you're mistaking writing *real* Java with those
annoying ripple effect applets that take half a minute to load on any
computer and don't look anything like water in the first place.  No, my
Java is well-written and not reliant on your parent's Compaq and the
Microsoft VM that shipped with it 4 years ago.  Rather, it runs on a
powerful, impressive Windows server which will crash without warning
when the JVM uses too much RAM!  Yes, I'm on the cutting edge of technology!

Understanding Perl is not the issue.  Tolerating it, however, is.
