Yeah it's just a .wav file put into the BIOS. I've seen it in some of
the BIOS code. You should be able to change that. What model ASUS board
do you have?

Also, ASUS motherboards support a spoken POST status message. Mine has a
woman's voice that says something about "Hardware setup complete" or
something like that when it POSTs. (It only worked through the onboard
speakers, and I'm using a different sound card.)

I don't know, but you might be able to alter the recorded messages. If
you
need, I've got a decent sample of Joshua saying "How about a nice game
of
chess?"
