and we never have problems reading the 7 files on 2000. What exactly is
happening?

Hi,
I need some help with a SQL server problem. I have SQL Server 2000, and a
client has SQL Server 7. He just sent me a backup of his database so that I
could have a local copy of it, but my copy of SQL Server cannot read it. I
am at a loss on how to proceed. Any suggestions would really be helpful.
