I didn't understand that there was more than one database in the backup - now it
will have to be treated somewhat differently.

If they can get you the required permissions on the original database server,
then you can use Enterprise manager to create a local copy of the database in
question and then synchronize it with the original.  That would be the easiest
method without having to get into all the permissions involved in the backup
file which is probably causing your errors
