Here's an example if you would like to know what I mean. let's say a french terrorist group blew up our buildings and we fly our planes over there to kill them, and in the act, damaged some french business that had nothing to do with it. i would like to think that those people would get compensated.
however, I do think a real war is long overdue. You know, get it over with

Did you hear about the murder bombing for which the military strike was retaliation?
You weren't on the list a while back when the Sbarro Pizza restaurant was blown up. Imagine your teenage kid going to the mall to hang out with friends and have a meal, and they die because someone smuggled a bomb into the restaurant and committed murder.
Buses, restaurants, shops in civilian malls in cities have been systematically targeted. The organizations behind this, Hamas and Islamic Jihad, are supported by the Palestinian government. This is, in effect, an act of war. So this warrants a military response.
