closer than IE is.
So the real question is whether to consider something "ready for
primetime" if it's not IE compatible.
My boss uses Safari as his primary browser, and most sites we have
written work fine. The one we have that has a problem is currently
being fixed.
Personally, I think that Safari is a far better browser than IE/Mac by
far, and certainly no worse than IE/Windows. But that's the point of
view of a programmer who uses Mozilla, so take with plenty of salt.
