Silly question but has she read the directions (or listened to the
help)?   Every voice mail system that Ive had features a forward
system (some better than others).

Lacking that another option may be to use a home answering machine and
set up a conference call between herself (perhaps on a cell phone) and
the answering machine line (with the answering machine set to record the
conversation).  She should then be able to conference in the voice mail
and get the message which would be recorded by the answering machine.

Its a little involved, but it should work just fine.

Subject: transferring voicemail

Let's see if anyone knows this off the top of their head. There is
surely a
way that you can transfer a message from phone-company voicemail to a
different phone number?

I ask for a coworker who is having her voicemail turned off but wants to
keep a message from a friend who has since died. She is goign to tape it
as
backup and I guess try Qwest tech support, but yáll are such talented
individuals I figure somebody already knows?

Thanks for any suggestions

Dana
