NS 4 was the standard at most school districts in NC when I was working
there.

Sandy -

We get IE 5.5 installed here at DOC.

Besides the Federal government, the other place for large numbers of
people with dinosaur browsers is instituions. Specifically, I used to
work for MedStar health, where NS 4.03 was the standard. AFAIK, this did
not change through 2002. 100,000+ clients.

The Smithsonian is standardized on something old, I just don't know
what.

Subject: Browser Statistics for US Government

I'm looking for some information for an article I am writing
regarding
statistics on browsers installed in government agencies.

Specifically Netscape 4.

Does anyone know where I can find such information?  If not, can
people on
the list from government agencies tell me which browsers come
installed (ie,
you didn't download and install yourself) on your computer when
you received
it.

Thanks

Sandy Clark
