You can't.


The closest you can come is to use the font-stretch property which is CSS2
values are: Ultra-Condensed, extra-condensed, condensed, semi-condensed,
normal, semi-expanded, expanded, extra-expanded, ultra-expanded, wider,
narrower or inherit.


I just tried a couple test pages I found via google on IE 6, Netscape 7,
Opera 7.2 and Mozilla 1.4, none of them support it.

Outside of using a bunch of tds in a table, how can I get the letters in
one TD to stretch out 100% of the width.. ie,

[      RAY     ]

would become

[  R  A  Y   ]

and would shrink/expand according to the size of the cell.
