I don't think you can. there are three elements that I _should_ do this,
but don't:


Letter-Spacing (which should take a percentage, but doesn't)
Word-spacing (which should take a percentage, but doesn't)
Text-align: Justify (which when set to "full" should do this, but
doesn't)


You might be able to play with something like letter-spacing: 100px in a
nowrap table cell - that might do it (but I doubt it).

Outside of using a bunch of tds in a table, how can I get the letters in
one TD to stretch out 100% of the width.. ie,

[      RAY     ]

would become

[  R  A  Y   ]

and would shrink/expand according to the size of the cell.
