It always reminds of the scene in "Office Space" (one of the greatest
films ever made) where Michael Bolton has his interview.
Actually, since I'm a "Junior" we had a lot of ridiculous stuff going
on. My father used to work for Buffalo Polycolor (an inductrial printer
since defunct) who printed the Sunday comics for many of the larger
newspapers. When a newspaper gets mail to a comic stripper then send it
to the printer (the printer talks to the creators, not the newspapers)
or the syndicate.
My father used to get all that mail. When he called Jim Davis (the
comic stripper) for a forwarding address he was told to throw the mail
away. I've never seen anything about the guy that makes me think "nice
guy" so it's frustrating being associated with him.
Of course that's minor compared to the fact that I can't easily renew my
Driver's License because there's a "Jim Davis" that shares my birthday
who's a convicted felon in PA.
