Not the same but we had some flooding here (Boston) last October and had to
drive through it. The car, a 1998 Malibu, plowed through water coming up
over the hood - a real trooper - but the alarm system got shorted out.
Couldn't turn the damn thing off for hours. I actually drove the car to a
big nearby parking lot and left it. Walked home in the rain while it
screeched itself out.
After it dried off some everything worked.

Subject: Car Tail lights still on!
Hey guys, i got out of my car tonight and noticed the taillights were still
on. I have no idea why that happened. Why is it on? What is it trying to
tell me? I drive an acura legend. I had to remove the fuse for the
taillight in order to turn it off and conserve battery for now. helpy!
