Beancounter: "Why do you need to spend 3,300 on a video card again?"
IT: "Well, you see, the raster-based content requires a separate memory
space other than motherboard allocated memory to conduct vector
calculations. In doing so it is also best to have a cooled unit to ensure
the card does not overheat from the vector bit differences that can
accumulate in on-board cache which will inevitably slow my current system to
a crawl thus causing me to loose productivity. In addition the fast swapping
memory used in the card...."
Beancounter: ** fell asleep ** so you leaned over and signed the PO for
him....

LOL!
Oh yeah right! Is that what you told the beancounters?
That you use a Radeon 9000 128MB card for development...
What are you doing 3D Art?
It couldn't be lowly text based, 2D Coldfusion development!
hee hee hee
