Point noted. This is on my list of to do things.
Also I will finally be making use of notes you sent me in regards to search engines and how to get sites better listed on search engines.

Subject: RE: Email promotion question
double opt-in is fine ... but sending a "remove" message to an
unsubscribe address is generally not considered good form.
In fact, the company we use for our managed servers, only allows
unsubscribe methods VIA the WEB and a system that shows a person that
their unsubscribe request was actually acted upon, and we also need to
keep DETAILED records of who opted in and who opted out, otherwise ~ANY
and ALL abuse reports are fined, and they won't even help with any SPAM
reports. It's all in their TOS and AUP.
With all the web technology at your fingertips, why can't a user click
on a link to opt them out of future mailings???
Oh, the email looks purty.
Cheers,
Erika

If done correctly I see no problems with double opt in type promotional
mailings.
