I just need to go, to at least find out where I am at.

John,
don't remember if you were on the list in Feb. '03 or not.
But I had a near-fatal heart attack at age 53 with no overt prior symptoms,
but a lot of risk factors and family history.
Knew the weight and cholesterol were high, didn't work hard enough to reduce
either.
Lucky - got a balloon angio and stent, no bypass surgery.
Back at work in 3 weeks.
They put me in a cardio rehab program, will monitor me for a year.
Decided I would rather make lifestyle changes than die.
Feel great - except for the bum hip from a skiing accident, which is going
to be replaced in March or April :-)
Down about 35 pounds (285 to 250),
Total chol down from 295 to the 160's,
Bad LDL down from 183 to 80.
Good luck.
