I can't remember which ATI I had - one of the 9000 range

Anyways, had a problem installing it - Windows freezing, so I phoned
them (they were fairly unhelpful)

I ended up calling Dell, and they said "Must be an issue with the card"

I upgraded the bios, removed all sorts of hardware from the machine...
Many things tried

In the end, turns out that if you have an on-board video card, and it's
auto-disabled by the bios (no switch for you to change) then ATI cards
have REAL problems installing as it tries to activate both the on-board
and the ATI card at the same time

I'm still looking for a PCI-X compatible video card that works properly
:-P
