I never said we should allow children to work. In all the examples I gave, I
mentioned life style choices and adults. I certainly do not want to see the
return of child labor. Also, I'm not against minimum wage either. I was
speaking specifically to your example as I felt it was flawed. Living with a
larger family unit is a life style choice that provides financial benefits.
Obviously it has drawbacks as well (less privacy). But the point is - if you
choose to work with a larger family, that isn't unfair.
