great. Most of the IMAX productions are - and we're lucky enough to have
two theaters here in Boston - the Mugar-Omni theater at the Museum of
Science is an old Dome theater (one of the earlier ones) and the new theater
at the New England Aquarium is one of the upright concave types.
The former only shows the educational material, but the latter also does
entertainment features: it actually made "Star Wars: Episode Two" almost
worth watching. ;^)
But back on topic you're absolutely right: the popular concept of Global
Warming seems to have descended into discussions of the current temperature
and impressions of a tropical Earth. The reality is that very small changes
can have tremendous effects over long periods of time and we understand them
and our influence on them only partially.

Check out the SUPERB Macgillivray-Freeman IMAX film "Coral Reef Adventure"
which was released on DVD this month. See what a two degree warming in the
ocean temperature can do...
