Which system (Was RE: Bleak future for videogamers?)

Speaking of gaming, I am thinking of getting a game system for the first
time. Which one do you prefer? I won't be playing the ultra-violent games,
more likely things like golf, wrestling and other family-friendly ones.
X-Box, PS2, Game Cube?
