Currently you can run a flavor of LINUX with a USB keyboard/mouse combo and
a network connection that actually works. In addition I am running XBMP
(kinda like Windows Media Center) to run XVIX, DIVX, MPEG2-4 etc movies and
such. I currently have an internal 100 GIG and external 120 GIG HD attached
to the XBOX.
In addition I have seen a not for release version of Windows Embed running
on XBOX that can actually run MS Embedd apps. It was awesome. I'd say that
somebody will have CE running on it within the year fully.

uhh....who uses the Xbox for high end graphic apps?
The most I've heard is some people hacking it to run a version of Linux
to prove it could be done.
I haven't read of people actually 'working' on the Xbox.

What about application development on the Xbox? I've heard of people
working with for high end graphic types of apps, but what's the storage
cabailities? Can it handle high volume of data, or would have to attach
some external storage device?
