OK so... the government of Ontario apparently will not take my word for it that I am going to Mexico. They want a copy of the airline tickets. Airline tickets? say I, I'm only about 200 miles from the border. Well, they need a copy of *something* before they will cut me a birth certificate. Confirmation of hotel reservations, whatever. Sigh.... the whole thing makes me feel about six. Yes, I need to make a reservation, and by the way I need you to write up a confirmation of the reservation so I can prove to my own government that I am telling the truth about planning to travel..... geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez.

And they wonder why they have a brain drain. Where the hell is my N400 ;)
