Been there done and done it. You will have to spend some time on the crystal website and print out some troubleshooting documents and go through the process of elimination.
As to the dll's. Here is a trick.
step 1: Open a sample crystal report. Go through the process of exporting it. You may have to do a sample export or you could get away with just canceling the dialog box.
step 2: Next go into the 'Help' --> About -->More Info.
All Dll's (crystal specific) along with version info etc are listed there. Pay special attention to anything starting with "U2" eg U2FXLS is for excel.
Please note, that the step of going through an export is important as that loads up the dll's.

Subject: OT (duh) .dll question
Ok, so is there such a beast as this:
I need something that will tell me what .dll files are currently registered on my system. I am having a hell of a time diagnosing a Crystal Reports export problem and I think that it may have something to do with .dll versions, but it is VERY difficult to determine which users have which versions.
Does anyone know of such a tool? (or does anyone have any experience with Crystal Reports Web Viewer (activeX) failing on exports to .xls)
