I think he means just send a warning, not reject the post. Repeated
warnings like a slap on the wrist might at least start some people
behaving.

I am on list where this process is repeated once a month and believe it
or not, the list actually follows instructions and out only infractions
come from newbies until they've learned the ropes.

But then again, I do not speak for Jochem, so he may have meant
something totally different. Like tieing the perpetrator up to a tree
and tantalizing them with fresh muffins until they begged for the
listmaster's mercy ...
