Hmmm interesting... I will look into that. Setting up data sources manually
in CF is not an issue. This is mainly for an internal management system, as
we do not plain on selling websites or reseller accents. But because we have
so many sites and web servers we need some way to administer everything.

One addition to this

Because it's written in ASP it can create ODBC datasources, but not JDBC
ones

So, for CFMX you'll have to create the DSNs yourself (for CF5 it works
seamlessly)
