mine holds that the earth is only a few thousand years old. I never got into
the rest of it with her, because I couldnt get past the extreme idiocy (only
in my opinion ;-)) of her assertion.
it would be far easier, and less expensive to start a space colony where
religion in any form is not allowed, than to try to right all of the wrongs,
misconceptions and animosity that exist between most of the religions and
societies that support them throughout the world.

Unfortunately its all together too true. The article does not mention that
one fundie group is trying to create a red heifer (some legends of the
Apocalypse require that a blood red heifer to appear in Jerusalem before the
Apocalypse). Other groups are training for the final war... You get the
idea.
