purification rituals. Without such rituals, stepping onto parts of the Temple
mound is prohibited to Jews. There are lots of people who blow the quest for
such an animal waaaay out of proportion. It does not bring the apocalypse, it
does not end the world, it just allows for purification.
But who expects people to listen to a sensible explanation, especially when a
fantasy is more fun.
