I just keep up with my receipts while out then once I get home, I store it all in a database through a quick CF app I wrote. You can also use the trip meter to store the exact mileage per trip. I kept the little log book for years but being in the business that we are in, I like the web forms much better :-)

I am probably going to move my billing tracking as well but undecided on that one since the program I have used for years still functions but would be nice to eliminate the PDA use and already know it will not work on any of the phones I would get myself so creating something new is "justifiable" for me right now.
