not just that but cf could write to databases that php / perl could then
perform various operations on. such as using languages for their strength
not just because you are locked into one. eg: perl - regex.

Subject: co-existantance of CF & PHP
Jason - I've also got CF and PHP applications working together on MySQL
databases. Jesse - Can you elaborate on what you mean by making them "work
with each other"? Are you talking WDDX?
On (sort of) a side note, I think the most exiting single enhancement to CF
4.5 was the CFEXECUTE tag, that alone opens doors to combining CF with other
native Linux applications. LOL... I guess one way to integrate PHP and CF
would be to do a CFEXECUTE that executes a command like 'php
/home/httpd/html/myphpfile.php'... tada! PHP inside of CF. :-)
