This isn't linux only, more of a CF enhancement over all platforms.... 

I want a way to delete cached queries from ram... without having to hit
the database.  Kind of like a structdelete() function, except for the
"cachedwithin" queries in cfquery.  The reason is so I can build a cache
syncronization server.  You can read about my idea here:
