The point is something that I am doing; namely have a CF server webpage
that interacts with a X10 controler, that allows for remote monitoring
via webpages (as well as control).

Say you have a computer room, and the temp/humidity is available via
x10: CFSchedule a page to wake every 15 minutes, read the values and
write to a DB. Create another CFPage that will read this DB and create
some barcharts via Table elements etc. Works well. Create another CF
webpage that looks for alarm conditions; schedule every 15 minutes;
when found send a SMS message to a cell phone. Cheap and free...

My $0.02

Of course you can buy something from heroix [sp?] that allows additional
monitors to be written, and add a x10 module to that. But is is very $$$...
