I am working on contacting Dell right now to get more info on the
changes they have made.  Somehow that never occurred to me.

Could you possibly find a changelist for the "dell modified" version. We
*never* certified CF5 on that distro. Depending on what they altered, it
could be an issue. 

However, you should still be applying the Redhat patches from
Ftp.redhat.com as you are technically running Redhat.

Except, you're still going to see kernel-funniez b/c I KNOW dell mod's
the kernel.
