Yes, I had this problem before as well. It seems that CF5.0 will sometimes keep on restarting (generally once every 30 secs) when it finds an e-mail address with a unreachable DNS server. I've given up on getting CFMail to work properly everytime. Instead, I'm using a custom tag that shifts over mail sending to PHP.
Does anyone know whether this problem is evident in CFMX? Thanks. Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> That helped a lot! I had read in the archive about a bug with zero length mail files, I looked for them and had none, So I keep looking elsewhere. But as soon as the mail was removed the Coldfusion mail spool, the resets dropped way way way down, have only had two in the last 12 hours. Thanks. I wonder if there is a way to tell Coldfusion not to try being a smart host for mail? lol. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/cf-linux%40houseoffusion.com/ To Unsubscribe visit http://www.houseoffusion.com/index.cfm?sidebar=lists&body=lists/cf_linux or send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with 'unsubscribe' in the body.
