Are you running on Red Hat using the default Red Hat install options?

Either you have kernel-level port filtering/firewalling setup (default setup on red
hat installs)

Or

You're hostname in the /etc/hosts file does not match the DNS entry for that IP address

When I installed Coldfusion MX, I get the following
message at the end:

Nov 4 14:53:34 testing coldfusionmx: Jrun not
started, will retry connector 1 more time(s)

Nov 4 14:53:39 testing coldfusionmx: The connector
wizard has not been able to contact the local JRun
server, connector installation aborted.

Anyone know how to fix it ?

thanks.
