Did you reset ownership to the newly uploaded original? It might now be
owned by the login you used to copy it back.

Subject: RE: Performance Halt on CF Server 5 on Linux

Thanks, Steve - I stupidly thought that it was easier to just edit the file
by hand.

The problem is that 'cfserver' won't load and so I can't execute the
'get_registry_keys.cfm' as
listed in your Macromedia Technote.

I just tried it again (manually) and watched the output of a top command.
'cfserver' flashes up
(along with RDS) but then just disappears. 'cfexec' is still at the top of
the list but nothing is
happening:

PID USER PRI NI SIZE RSS SHARE STAT LIB %CPU %MEM TIME COMMAND
 2298 coldfusi 18 0 124M 124M 1552 R 0 97.6 24.5 4:02 cfexec

I gave it a full 10 mins earlier and it doesn't want to burst into life.
How can I force CF to load
so that I can clear this registry out once and for all?

Many thanks for your help - very much appreciated.
