Hey all

I've got a client's server running CF 5 & RedHat 7.2. Its been up & running
for 3-4 weeks and over this period it has been running just fine for 99% of
the time.

On three occasions the cfserver has begun restarting itself every 30 seconds
for a period of between 1 and 6 hours. Consistently every 30 seconds one of
the cfserver processes will spike up to 100% CPU and then all threads will
restart causing users to loose sessions & become angry.

I've spent hours looking at it, trying this & that and have only a very
vague idea that it has something to do with mail. I'm not certain of this
but its a strong hunch.

I won't go into detail of all the things I have tried because I'd be here
all night. I just wanted to see if it rings any bells with anyone and
whether someone could help me track down a solution.

Thanks in advance

Cheers

Mark
