On 3/22/03 6:33 AM, "Trishan Singh" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> spit this out onto my computer screen:

It comes with 2.0.43 i believe (sorry > havent had to mess with the config in a while). I have updater3 running on a redhat8 box. No issues thus far. And as for redhat 8, it defaults to apache 2.0.40. > > I cant really respond to the MX on 8.0 from the macromedia side, Im sure > there is a reason , but personally i have yet to find it. Again that is JUST > ME. No word as of yet. > With that, My box is > running the default apache from RH8.0 and cfmx + updater2 with only a few > mods to the config files such as taking the cfide dir out of the web root > and creating an alias to it, stuff that really does not change apache or MX. How on earth did you get CFMX to install with the default Apache 2.0.40 (from RedHat)? Everywhere I have read states that you need 2.0.41 + to get it to work. I FOUGHT with getting CFMX to install on my redhat box, hence the reason I documented it (incase I ever had to do it again), and the guys at CFDEV threw it on their site. Can you tell me how you got it to install on the default apache? Because I am really interested in that. When I did that other install (as outlined in the instructions) I used a 3rd party RPM, but would rather stick with the redhat RPM's. If you have instructions, can you please reply to me off list? Since this is getting OT on this thread. Thanks!
