Ubuntu is Debian based so it should work fine, as attested to by numerous people.
The main use of the box is for personal development not production usage. We already use RH for our production box. I just happen to have a spare workstation and have Ubuntu loaded and was considering running CFMX on it. Thanks for all of the help. I will let you know the outcome if/when I try it.
