Did you get it working yet, Stephen?

BREATHE!!!!

OK, now, if you know where /lib is, and you know where /bin is, then type
this:
/bin/mv {wherever /lib is} /lib

Alternately, if that don't work for some crazy Linux-bashing reason, you
should be able to boot with a rescue disk. That should get you to a
single-user command prompt with a minimal but present set of commands at
your disposal. In SuSE you usually have to mount your / file structure by
hand, after which you should type:
mv /mnt/{wherever /lib has gone off to} /mnt/lib

Once you move /lib back to it's home it should be pretty well resolved.

Hope you get it working, man...

LATERZ!

J

Subject: SERIOUSLY URGENT! made a mistake!

Folks!!

Made a serious and seriously stupid mistake!

I've got 2 bash windows open to my server and was moving some things
around carefully when I accidently switch windows and managed to move
the /lib folder!

Now I know where the /lib folder went and where it should be, but the
only file type command I seem to be able to get access to is cd!
cp/mv/ls/ln/df (plus all the other functions in the /bin folder) are now
saying "no such file or command"

How can I copy the /lib folder back to where it should be?

Stephen (in pain mode!)
