#3 --- CFMX7 Administrator browse server...
I am unable to get the coldfusion administrator to
properly use the TreeControl applet when I click on
any Browse Server button....eg in CFadmin goto
Mappings...click browse server.
It will say Retrieving internal directories.. in the
listbox for a moment before it goes blank and the
browser will hang with an hourglass cursor while the
status bar will beam Applet TreeControl started.
Why can't I use the java TreeControl applet?

This is a client-side web browser java plugin issue. What version of
java are you using for your web browser that you're having trouble with?
I can navigate the tree you give as an example w/o any problem on my
workstation. I'm using the J2RE v5 that comes with slackware 10.1. I
set up mozilla firefox to use it's mozilla plugin and it works just
dandy.

(sorry for the separate replies but apparently the listserv doesn't like
BIG posts (over 100 lines))
