What version of java are you using for your web
browser that you're having trouble with?
I dl'd the latest J2REv5, installed for browsers, and
still no luck! (I have verified that it is using the
newest version 1.5.0_02-b09 plugin.) I have tested
with Firefox 1.0.4, Firefox 1.0, IE 6.

that comes with slackware 10.1. I set up mozilla
firefox to use it's mozilla plugin and it works just
dandy.
I'm envious! ;) I removed the administrator from
behind ssl protection, tried again with my java 1.5
enabled browsers and still no dice. When I try, the
applet loads, says that its "Retrieving initial
directories" and then I get a java popup error box
that says "Server Error: IO error on server
communication"
A quick look at apache access log gives me
[myIP] - [18:35:47] "POST
/CFIDE/main/ide.cfm?CFSRV=IDE&ACTION=BrowseDir
HTTP/1.1" 404 4260
[myIP] - [18:36:03]

501 -
I also see one line in the apache error log:
[18:28:16] [error] [client myIP] Invalid method in
request

Any ideas as to why I am getting blocked from browsing
my server with tree control in cf administrator?
