My understanding of this story of chlorophyll//chlorophyll-a in CF was, approximately, that we may use the same standard name for both, precise the wavelength as a size-one coordinate variable. And then just add "Chlorophyll-A" in the long name attribute.. But I am absolutely not sure of that, it is something that could be clarified thanks to your request.
