Thanks for the concept of the DOI assignment with Zenodo. The following DOIs make sense for me (B) for references in Journal Publication - I don't think the versions are important here and these could then also be mentioned in the text. (C) also for Journal Publication (D) for references from our database when using the standard names Example: https://urldefense.us/v3/__https://cera-www.dkrz.de/WDCC/ui/cerasearch/topics?topicid=2001711__;!!G2kpM7uM-TzIFchu!mhTKa8MAK0gYoUKuUe3g9XlnoA359IRmfvbNU7A1U7hYAg9mh2H0i3Wu4_TJ63cS9OF8u2G4ClI$ See Description 'Air temperature is the bulk temperature of the air, not the surface (skin) temperature. [CF standard name]' '[CF-Standard Name]' should be replaced by the DOI. I think that the last version is enough, since the alias standard names can also be found there. For the future, a new DOI would then be good for each new version, but in principle I can use (C) and naming the version. Heinke
