Hmm.. What port are you trying to run the App Server at?

It should by default be 8300 or something.

No problem, from the options i choose standalone server, and then the
radio button that chose the build in webserver option.  Just to see if i
can get it running, i chose not to install IIS this time at all.  I was
able to find two different log files, looked like one was logged for the
initial install, under each process it noted "successful".  The other
log, i wish i did save, it appeared to be a service config log maybe?
but the only thing that was noted odd in the log was phrase, "CORBA not
configured".  I think i threw a copy of the log somwhere else, i will
see if i can find it.  I'm looking through other things and noticed that
the JRE and SDK i am running are higher versions that the ones that are
posted on adobes site for being compatable.  Should i stick with
vs.1.3/1.4?
